Food: They specialize in specialty cakes for any occasion with any decoration imaginable. They have cupcakes in all varieties, while supplies last each day. They make cookies, a to die for pound cake and some fruit bar thing. It’s good, I don’t know what to call it, but it’s amazing also. I am a fan of their cupcakes though. They are enormous and range in price from $2-$3.50. My favorites are the plain vanilla with chocolate buttercream icing, the chocolate cupcake with chocolate butter cream icing and their lemon or strawberry cupcakes. My least favorite would have to be the pralines cupcake. While I love a delicious homemade praline from Savannah, I do not enjoy the praline cupcake because it tastes like a stick of sugary butter, so I think kids might really enjoy that cupcake since so many kids eat straight butter. But everyone has different taste buds and this cupcake is always in the cupcake shelf and seems to go fast.
Today I choose the Oreo cupcake for a birthday gift and for myself the German chocolate. The Oreo cupcake was eaten so fast by this 17 year old kid that I never got to capture a picture. However, it was a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting that had loads of crushed Oreo’s all throughout it along with a heavy drizzle of chocolate on the top. For the German chocolate cupcake, well it was a delish and a diabetic’s nightmare. The chocolate cake was moist and flavorful. In the middle of the cupcake they cut the top off and stuffed it with that very, well known German coconut filling. They then covered it back up with the cupcake top. Over the cake top the cupcake was covered in a rich chocolate buttercream icing that was smooth and creamy partnered with a huge spoonful of the coconut filling which was extremely flavorful, they then topped it all with a cherry and more of that decadent chocolate drizzle. It did not last long. And I will be going back for more.
